About this puja
Kaal Sarp dosha forms when all the planets fall between Rahu and Ketu in the kundli, and can bring constant struggle, failure, money trouble and mental distress. Trimbakeshwar is especially renowned for this shanti. The puja includes naag puja, the Sarpa Sukta, Mahamrityunjay jap and Rudrabhishek. There are twelve kinds of Kaal Sarp dosha — Anant, Kulik, Vasuki, Shankhpal, Padma, Mahapadma, Takshak, Karkotak, Shankhachud, Ghatak, Vishdhar and Sheshnag — each with its own rites. It can be done at home or at a pilgrimage place.
