1. The service
VedPurohit connects customers with independent, verified purohits. Pujas are performed by the purohits; we provide booking, coordination, samagri, kundli and information services, plus tools such as the panchang, library and free kundli.
2. Your account
- Give true details and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- When signing up you choose customer or purohit; one mobile / e-mail per account type.
- VedPurohit may close accounts for rule breaking, fraud or misbehaviour.
3. Puja bookings
- Prices on the website / app are indicative ranges; the final dakshina depends on the puja, samagri, distance and duration.
- A booking is confirmed only once a purohit is confirmed. If you do not choose one, our team assigns a suitable purohit near you; when purohits say they are ready, the team checks and confirms.
- Booking a specific purohit needs an account.
- Dates can be changed and bookings cancelled from the app / website before the puja day (within limits). Refunds follow the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
4. Customers agree to
- Give a correct name, contact and full address
- Arrange the place and (as agreed) the samagri
- Treat the purohit with respect and tell us about changes as early as possible
5. Purohits agree to
- Send the profile and Aadhaar for verification after opening the account; our team usually approves within 24–48 hours. Until approval the profile is not listed or searchable and gets no bookings.
- Give true details and real photos, arrive on time for accepted bookings, and use customer details only for that puja.
- Offline purohits get no new bookings; block the dates you are not available.
- Referral points are earned only on genuine, completed transactions, never on their own bookings / orders. Points may be cancelled if misused.
6. Premium kundli
- Needs an account. Work starts only after the team confirms the payment (online or UPI); the PDF usually reaches your account within 24 hours.
- For match-making, give correct birth details of both the boy and the girl; we are not responsible for wrong details.
- Printed copies go by courier; the tracking number appears in the app / website. Delivery time depends on the courier.
7. Payments, store and gems
Online payments are processed securely by Razorpay. Information about samagri and gems is for guidance. For refunds and cancellations see the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
8. Reviews and content
Reviews can be written only after a completed booking. VedPurohit may remove false, offensive or personal content. Photos uploaded by purohits must be their own.
9. Messages
We may send messages about bookings, orders and your account by app / website notification, SMS or WhatsApp. Notifications can be turned off in the app settings.
10. Limits
Panchang, muhurat, kundli and astrology information is traditional guidance; consult an expert for important decisions. Purohits are responsible for their own conduct; we act on complaints.
11. Law and contact
