Shri Lakshmi Puja
For wealth and prosperity — special on Diwali and Fridays
About this puja
Shri Mahalakshmi is the goddess of wealth, prosperity, beauty and splendour, and Friday is her special day. The puja is most rewarding on Dhanteras and Lakshmi Pujan during Diwali. Her forms — Mahalakshmi, Dhanalakshmi, Rajalakshmi and Dhanyalakshmi — are worshipped, with the Shri Sukta, Kanakadhara stotra and the 108 names of Lakshmi as the main recitations. It is especially beneficial at shops, offices and business premises. Performing Lakshmi puja every year keeps the home free from want.
