Original text
The sacred text is kept in its original language.
Meaning
This prayer is sung after all the aartis and before the Mantrapushpanjali. The first verse is by Sant Namdev (in Marathi); the verses that follow are Sanskrit scriptural prayers.
1. I will lie prostrate, bow at your feet and fill my eyes with your form. I will embrace you with love, worship you with joy and wave the lamp before you with devotion — so says Namdev.
2. O God of gods, you alone are my mother, my father, my brother and my friend. You are my learning and my wealth — you are everything to me.
3. Whatever I do with my body, speech, mind or senses, with my intellect, my self or my nature, I offer it all to the Supreme, to Narayana.
4. Achyuta, Keshava, Rama, Narayana, Krishna, Damodara, Vasudeva, Hari, Shridhara, Madhava, beloved of the gopis, and Ramachandra, lord of Janaki — by these names I worship the Lord.
5. This great mantra is the chanting of the names of Rama and Krishna.
