Meaning
This Hindi aarti by Gosavinandan is sung in Maharashtra right after "Sukhakarta Dukhaharta".
1. Bright red shendur is offered to elephant-faced Ganesha. The pot-bellied dear son of Gauri and Shiva shines. The lord of the gods holds jaggery laddus in his hand. His glory cannot be described; I bow at his feet.
Refrain: Victory to you, Ganaraj, giver of knowledge and happiness. Blessed is the sight of you; my heart delights in it.
2. All eight siddhis serve you and you are the enemy of troubles. Your auspicious form, the destroyer of obstacles, rules over all. Your radiance is like ten million suns, and the moon shines on your head.
3. Whoever comes to you for refuge with devotion receives children and wealth in plenty. Such a lord you are, so very dear to me. Gosavinandan sings your praises day and night.
